Waiver Services
Dedicated Care Services
In addition to PCA services, Alpha Care Family Services, Inc. offers multiple Waiver Programs. These programs provide home and community-based services to meet the needs of people with disabilities and older adults. People must be Minnesota residents and meet eligibility requirements specific to each waiver program.
Waiver programs must meet federal and other guidelines, which include eligibility requirements, funding parameters and limits, county and/or state policies, and services available. Each waiver program is based on an agreement between DHS and the federal government. They define populations served, define services and provider standards, describe how rates are determined and describe how DHS manages the waiver program.
